Bernadette Benda began her dancing at an early age in Northeast Ohio, with a strong focus in modern and ballet. Classes and intensives with various companies inspired her love of dance, including Verb Ballets, Pilobolus, and the Kent Summer Workshop with Limon Dance Company. She danced with North Pointe Ballet as a trainee and company dancer from 2017 to 2021. Her most recent performances include Cleveland Dance Project’s Season 7, Season 8, and Season 9 Showcases, North Pointe Ballet’s The Sleeping Beauty 2021, Ballet in the Park 2022, and the Nutcracker 2022, and What’s Beyond? at Cleveland Public Theater’s Pandemonium 2022. She currently teaches ballet and modern at Jillian Rian’s Dance Studio. When Bernadette is not dancing, she is usually found pursuing her writing and working as a personal trainer.
