After grad school, Catherine
and Gwen chose polar opposite paths. Catherine built a
career as a rockstar academic, while Gwen built a home with
her husband and children. Decades later, unfulfilled in
polar opposite ways, each woman covets the other's life,
commencing a dangerous game of musical chairs -- the prize
being Gwen's husband. This comedy is an unflinching look at
gender politics.
RAPTURE, BLISTER, BURN, directed by Geoffrey Hoffman, will have its performances opening Fri, November 30 and run Thu-Sat Through December 15. Rehearsals will begin after October 15.
Roles Available:
GWEN: early 40s, female, a housewife in the suburbs
AVERY: 21, female, a college student
Auditions will consist of scene readings from the script. All those auditioning should check in at the theater between 4 pm and 6 pm. Auditions will end at 7 pm.
