"VERN" is a poignant narrative set in a desolate shed nestled deep within the woods. It follows the story of a pregnant slave woman who seeks refuge and protection from the perils of her surroundings. However, her sanctuary is soon threatened by a merciless slave owner, propelling her into a heart-wrenching decision that will test the very limits of her desperation for freedom.
I am currently in search of the perfect location (NorthEast Ohio area) to bring this compelling story to life. I am looking for a farm with somewhat rustic charm and natural surroundings that make it an ideal setting for the pivotal scenes of our film.
