Marcy Ronen Casting is hosting a workshop that focuses on auditioning for commercials on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Cleveland, OH.
Workshop hours are 10AM TO 430PM with an hour lunch break (lunch is not provided). The workshop is limited to 12 participants, and costs $150.00 per person.
Actors & aspiring actors (age 18 & up) with any level of experience are invited to attend (this is an introductory class, so keep that in mind).
We will cover the process of auditioning for commercials including head shots and resumes, sign in procedures, size cards and contact information sheets, what to wear to an audition, unions, agents, slating and audition techniques. We will discuss callbacks, booking the job, wardrobe fittings, contracts and set etiquette.
We will videotape each participant in various commercial audition scenarios (and post a link for your review online) and provide feedback on cold reading, prepared copy and improvised auditions.
