Heights Youth Theatre (HYT), now in its 62nd year, will open the 2015-16 season with “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”.  In line with our commitment to involve students in all aspects of theatre production, HYT is looking for a few talented and committed students to audition for the pit orchestra, or in this case, instrumental combo, to provide music for the upcoming “You're a Good Man Charlie Brown” performances October 16-25.

 

Student Instrumentalists should demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following:

• Flute/Piccolo*
  
• Alto Sax/Clarinet*
  
• Bass Guitar
  

 

It is preferred that one individual be able to play both instruments where two are listed. Students who are selected to join the ensemble should understand that preparation and commitment are paramount. Student instrumentalists will be expected to attend all Tech Week rehearsals, just prior to opening night (week of October 12).  A stipend will be paid to those students who perform as part of the pit.
