Come see the Emmy-nominated film, TRAIL MAGIC: THE GRANDMA GATEWOOD STORY on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lorain Public Library at 351 6th St. in Lorain, Ohio. Ohioan Emma Gatewood was the first woman to solo thru-hike the Appalachian Trail in 1955 at the age of 67 after raising 11 children and surviving domestic abuse. The script was written by Kelly Boyer Sagert of Lorain. The film was directed by Peter Huston of Put-In-Bay and produced by Bette Lou Higgins of Elyria.
