Ohio Shakespeare Festival in Akron Ohio is seeking a stage manager for our outdoor summer season.

Stipend would be between $100-$200/week depending on the experience of the applicant and whether or not they can commit to both shows. 

Up to 10 week contract, weekly stipend.

June 5 - August 5, rehearsals on weekday evenings, Saturday afternoons, Mondays off, performances Thursday-Sunday evenings June 30-Aug 5.

Ideal candidates would have experience as a stage manager / production manager in the past. 

Seeking someone who is:

-highly organized

-punctual

-a proactive problem-solver

-calm under pressure

-has no conflicts

-able to be a strong leader when working with a large group

-skilled at staying on book, take detailed notes

-able to send out daily emails following a rigid schedule, including reports

-access to a computer/reliable device for said reporting/emails (this is negotiable and potentially could be provided by the Festival)

-able to secure reliable transportation to all performances and rehearsals
