Stocker Arts Center Presents 2017 LCCC Fall Film Series

 

Stocker Arts Center presents the LCCC Fall Film Series on the Lorain County Community College campus. Films are shown on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. in the Hoke Theatre. The next film is:

 

·         “The Hero”

Friday, October 13, 7:30 p.m.

Cast: Sam Elliott, Laura Prepon, Nick Offerman, Krysten Ritter

 

“The Hero” stars the legendary Sam Elliott as an aging actor confronting mortality in this moving new film. He spends his days reliving old glories and smoking marijuana with his former co-star turned dealer, Jeremy, until a surprise health diagnosis brings his priorities into sharp focus. He soon strikes up an exciting contentious relationship with stand-up comic Charlotte, and he attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter, Lucy, all while searching for one final role to cement his legacy.

 

Tickets are $7 each. Film tickets and “Any Time Tix” can be purchased throughout the season and are good through the final film of the 2018 Winter/Spring Film Series. *Film discussions will be held in the Stocker Cinema Hall after selected films.
