AUDITION NOTICE: "Hound of the Baskervilles"
Adapted Version by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Holmes’ most spine-chilling mystery is placed in a modern
setting in this version – with suspense, humor, and terror. Sir Henry is heir
to the vast Baskerville fortune, a legacy that comes with a family curse: death
at the fangs of a horror that prowls the moor. Only Holmes can stop the beast.

script.

Performers interested but unable to make the in-person audition can submit
a video audition.
Please present a 2-3 minute dramatic monologue from a Mystery or Thriller.

-Sherlock Homes: famed private investigator interested in
bizarre cases
-John Watson: Holmes’ colleague
-Lady Agatha Mortimer: a medical doctor, dignified, confident
-Sir Henry: a young noblemen, heir to a fortune and a curse
-Kathy Stapleton: a vivacious young woman
-Jack: Kathy’s brother, given to emotional outbursts
-Laura Lyons: a direct and confident young woman with a
dangerous secret
-Barrymore: The butler, slightly sinister, efficient and
competent
-Mrs. Barrymore: The housekeeper, efficient and competent
-Perkins: a younger maid, unassuming, teens - early 20s
