Body: Morning Session (9AM-noon EDT)
Movement exercises focus on developing balance, spatial awareness, understanding and communicating with body language. Mask work helps students connect body language and facial expression to communicate emotions.

Voice: Afternoon Session (1-4PM EDT)
Vocal exercises develop confident voices through breathing, intonation and articulation activities, games and puppetry.

IMPROV AND COMEDY

Improv: Morning Session (9AM-noon EDT)
Improvisation techniques for autistic/disabled students and actors — for use in both virtual and real life settings. Creating characters, developing scenes (conversations) and exploring the power of “Yes and…”

Comedy: Afternoon Session (1-4PM EDT)
Comedy techniques for individuals, partners and teams: through improv, stand-up comedy, comedy teams, and sketch comedy.

APPLIED DRAMA FOR GROWTH
Saturday, January 2

Act for Advocacy: Morning Session (9AM-noon EDT)
Using improvisation and devising techniques to examine real life scenarios in which autistic and disabled individuals learn how to advocate for themselves, for each other and for their communities.

Bully Project: Afternoon Session (1-4PM EDT)
Exploring the roles and actions involved in bullying situations. Learn how the Victim can become the Protagonist. Discover how Bystanders may be moved toward positive actions. Find empathy for the Bully by understanding how people fall into that role.
