CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM SEEKING TWO FEMALE ACTORS FOR NEIGHBORS,

BY BRANDEN JACOBS-JENKINS, DIRECTED BY TERRENCE SPIVEY

Neighbors by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins is a wildly theatrical, explosive, provocative play on race. It is an unconventional comedy which uses minstrelsy both to explore the history of black theatre and to confront tensions in a supposedly 'post-racial' America.  A riotously funny satire with totally serious social commentary.

Jean: white female, mother, to play late 30’s, early 40’s.

Melody: bi-racial female, daughter, to play 15-16. (Actor to be 18 or older, however.)

Audition/Reading at 7 pm, Monday, June 5 at convergence-continuum’s Liminis Theater, 2438 Scranton Rd, Cleveland 44113.
