“In Baby/Mother/Eternity, a surreal, poetic play rooted in Black womanhood and ancestral memory, two women—Sweety and Anna Lisa—circle through time and repetition inside a kitchen haunted by glowing oxtails, absent men, and a phone that won’t stop ringing. As reality bends, humor and dread coexist, blurring the line between the domestic and the divine. Through lyrical dialogue, spiritual rupture, and a search for music long forgotten, the play explores the eternal weight of care, the legacy of survival, and the mystical bond between mother and child.
