HBTI provides students an environment in which they can immerse themselves in drama, dance and voice. It is a place for learning, sharing, experimenting, exploring, and seeking their artistic voice. In this positive and process oriented atmosphere, students will have the opportunity to interact and work alongside working professionals in arts. This time spent at this “intensive” will grow their theatre skills, increase their self-confidence, help them gain social skills and open them to a world of possibilities and new ideas

Session III: 7/24- 8/4 PRIME, Intermediate and Performing Arts Training ($450)

AGE BASED PROGRAMS
PRIME - For students entering grades 1-3 (9 am- 3:30 pm Monday through Friday)
This program introduces the young students to acting, singing and dancing in an easy going, age appropriate manner. Throughout the session the students workshop a special program and then will present “The PRIME SHOW” at the end of the session.
Intermediate - For students entering grades 4-6 (9 am- 3:30 pm Monday through Friday)
This transitional program introduces techniques to the students. Students will take daily voice, ballet and stage combat classes. In addition they will develop their acting skills by working through an existing script.
Performing Arts Training - For students entering grades 7-college (9 am- 3:30 pm Monday through Friday)
This program is age, skill and preference based. All Performing Arts Students will take the basic theatre technique classes of acting, voice and ballet. Also students will elect a program either; Acting, Musical Theatre or Dance and take additional classes in their focus. Those classes may include some of the following: Act the Song, Monologues, Tap, Ballroom, Stage Combat,, Acting for the Camera, Movement for Actors, Contemporary Dance and/or ImprovisationFor more information click here HBTI summer 2021
