The Opportunity:
The Millennial Theatre Project is seeking a passionate and experienced Stage Director to lead our spring production of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. This is a paid, non-union position. We are looking for a director who aligns with our mission to create inclusive, collaborative, and artistically fulfilling experiences for all involved.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking local Northeast Ohio-based directors with the following:
A strong understanding of blocking and storytelling in a black box or club-style theatrical space
Experience guiding rehearsals that are well-structured, safe, and creativity-driven
A leadership style that nurtures trust, inclusion, and artistic excellence
A directorial vision that captures the mystery, theatricality, and ensemble energy of Murder on the Orient Express
Previous experience with classic plays, mysteries, or stylized ensemble works is a plus.

Auditions: Monday, January 12, 2026
Callbacks: Wednesday, January 14, 2026
Rehearsals Begin: February 1, 2026 (3–4 evenings/week, weekends as needed)
Tech Week: March 15–19, 2026
Performances: March 20, 21, and 22, 2026
