Students will experience a variety of activities that develops speaking skills, builds confidence, and enhances social skills in a creative environment.
This class encourages students to use their own method of storytelling by expanding body awareness through creative interpretation and character development.
Imaginations will soar as mini ‘Crafters share adventures with friends while creating individual characters through classic tales and improvisation.
Students will play a unique range of drama activities, games and improv exercises. Learn how to take direction, speak out clearly and confidently while having fun!
This program will give students an opportunity to be a part of a cabaret-style showcase in which they will perform renditions of Broadway musical favorites. Members will receive a free T-shirt to wear for their grand finale on the last day of class!

To Be or Not To Be? Shakespeare & Stage Combat Workshop
Students will delve into Shakespeare’s texts through script analysis, exploration of language, vocal work, monologues, and scene study.

Learn the art of comedy through improv and games made famous by the popular television show Whose Line Is It Anyway? Laughter will bring this class together in a fun and friendly environment.

All the World's a Stage - Advanced Acting
Advanced theatre students will work on sophisticated acting techniques, scene study, character development & dialects. Students interested in enrolling should demonstrate seriousness of purpose.

Show Biz Kids
This workshop is a scaled-down musical that will be performed during the last day of class. Students will become familiar with stage directions, working as an ensemble, memorization, choreography, costume and set design, while developing audition techniques. This class is a great preparation for future main stage productions, as well as other theatrical opportunities.

Center Stage Yoga
Get “centered” and learn how to control jitters before an audition or a performance. In this class, you will learn a series of postures and breathing exercises to achieve control of the body and mind in a tranquil atmosphere. Enjoy your favorite Broadway tunes while applying mental disciplines.

Dance Expressions
This class is designed for students to have fun while learning new dance styles, steps, and creative combinations through group choreography. Ideal class to develop confidence for future dance auditions.

On Your Mark, Get Set, Sew
Design it. Build it. Wear it. Every Saturday students will test their design/style sense as they cut, sew and create their own personalized projects. A supply fee of $50, made payable to The Costume Shop, is due the first day of class.

Behind the Scenes - Set Design and Stage Management
If you love theatre and want to learn more about what goes on backstage, then this class is for you! Learn all areas of production with hands-on stage experience and set design. Students will collaborate with directors, designers, actors and professional staff as part of our production team.
