THE SPITFIRE GRILL | Auditions

Carnation City Players is excited to invite performers to an open call for its upcoming musical, THE SPITFIRE GRILL. Auditions will be held at 6:30 PM on April 10 at the Firehouse Theater, 450 East Market Street, Alliance, OH. No appointment necessary.

Auditioners should prepare a musical theatre song (32 bars) and be prepared to read from the script. An accompanist will be provided (no a capella). Roles available for four women, three men, and a small chorus.

Percy— 18 - early 20s (parolee); pretty and rough-edged.
Shelby— 18 - early 30s; shy and awkward; becomes strong.
Hannah— late 40s - 70s; harsh and sharp-tongued.
Sheriff Sutter— mid 20s - early 30s; ambitious and determined.
Caleb— late 20s - early 40s; overbearing and forthright. 
Effy— the town gossip.
The Visitor— late 20s - early 40s; a non- speaking role; a homeless type person.
