Do you have a "big" audition coming up? Weathervane Playhouse has the perfect workshop for you!
This workshop is designed to coach students on a previously selected audition piece and familiarize students with the audition process.
Students entering this class should choose a poem, monologue, vocal music selection or dance audition piece in advance. Students will learn about the audition process and receive coaching on an audition piece. The class will build skills in slating, audition
process, relaxation techniques, character development and emotional expression. Students will receive constructive feedback on their work.
This is a great workshop for those preparing for an upcoming audition in school!
Please prepare a song selection, monologue, or dance piece.
Please feel free to contact Sarah Bailey or Dane Leasure for some helpful suggestions for audition materials and be sure to pack
a lunch!
