The Cassidy Theatre is Announcing Additional Auditions for their upcoming production of 

Into The Woods

Audition Dates:

Sunday, July 24th at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Monday, July 25th at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

CALLBACKS: * Callbacks, if required, will be Wednesday, July 27th at 7:00 p.m.

Non-Equity performers / All Roles Available

Location: The Cassidy Theatre, 6200 Pearl Road, Parma Hts., OH 44130

(In the Greenbrier Commons, behind the Police Station)

Please prepare the following:

*Auditions will be held in group format. There will be two groups each evening. Please call the Cassidy Theatre office to sign up for a day and time. The first group will run from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  The second group will run from 8:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

*Please prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show, bring sheet music in the appropriate key (accompanist will be provided).

* All those auditioning will be taught one or more musical cuts from the show and may be asked to read from the script.

*Bring a headshot and resume

*Please bring a list of conflict dates you may have during the rehearsal period.

 

Rehearsals: will be held weekday evenings and will begin in late July.

Performance Dates for Into the Woods: October 7^th through 23^rd Fridays and Saturdays @ 8:00 PM and Sundays @ 3:00 PM

Show Synopsis: When a baker and his wife learn they've been cursed by the witch next door, they embark on a quest to break the spell placed on them. Along the way they meet a forest filled with fractured Grimm’s fairytale characters. A bewitching take on lessons learned and loss of innocence when you journey into the woods.

Cast- 7 Men, 10 Women, 18 years and older. (Non-equity)
