YouTube Videos Showing the role of medical health organizations andPerforming Artists Help Soothe and Heal Mental Health Challenges, experienced by men, women, teens and children.

In late 2021 and 2022, Judy Allen and  I realized the Pandemic has caused  increased manifestation of problems resulting from life issues such as, illness, isolation, loss of income, & other major losses, resulting in mental health problems which may be solved in non-clinical ways. This knowledge helped us decide to focus on mental health issues in 2022 and continue in 2023..

We wanted to highlight the issues in a different way . . . By showing how performing artists’ use a variety of ways to help soothe and heal mental health challenges.

So, take a look at these YouTube videos showcasing Shanice Lockhart's discussion that highlights  mental health in the black community.  And, Barbara Barrett, RN, and Vocalist, showcase combining medical practices with the arts.

The Healing Arts (THA) is a video podcast that uses the performing arts and insights by healing arts professionals to facilitate mental, emotional and spiritual healing in a wide variety of areas.
