Seeking Instructors for Fall 2018 Art Classes

The Shaker Arts Council invites local artist, artisans and art aficionados to submit proposals for art related classes that will be offered through the Shaker Heights Department of Recreation.  The classes will be scheduled for the Fall of 2018, between September 10 and November 12.  These community classes can cover any artistic genre, for example, dance, jewelry making, painting, writing, improvisation, music theory, scrapbooking, or even juggling.  Classes can be 4, 6, or 8 sessions depending on instructor’s preference.  Instructors will receive 70% of the tuition collected for the course. If a course is accepted into the curriculum, adjustments in the final format may be necessary to meet scheduling needs or classroom availability. The Shaker Heights Department of Recreation will work with faculty to finalize arrangements.

Preference will be given to Shaker Arts Council members.
