WHAT TO PREPARE:

Please prepare two contrasting, contemporary monologues of no more than 60 seconds each or two minutes total. Please slate at the beginning of the audition (state your name and what you’re performing).  For video submissions we ask that the camera show as much of the actor’s body as possible in order to replicate a live theatre audition; and also state your height when you slate if you’re willing and comfortable doing so. Audition videos should be uploaded to YouTube and set to "unlisted"

HOW TO SCHEDULE A LIVE GENERAL SEASON AUDITION:

•    Email auditions@dobama.org(please note any conflicts on April 29th)
•    You will be assigned a 5 minute audition slot
•    Please arrive 10 minutes early and allow time in case auditions are running behind
•    Bring a headshot and resume
•    You may download, print, and bring a completed audition form or fill one out at the auditions
 

HOW TO SUBMIT VIDEO AUDITIONS: 

Please email the Unlisted YouTube link in an email along with an attached:

•    completed audition form
•    resume
•    headshot

SUBMIT FOR DIRECT CONSIDERATION:

Actors who have auditioned for Dobama numerous times in recent years and/ or have been recently cast in a Dobama production may submit for direct consideration for callbacks without a video audition. These actors should send a completed audition form, resume, and headshot to auditions@dobama.org
