Ballet Prep for Summer Abroad

Classes are geared to prepare students attending summer intensives away from home. They need to arrive at their program with technique on par to the level in which they auditioned and having the stamina to be their best when they attend their summer programs.

Classes will be held Monday –Thursday for three weeks.

· Ages 11 & up

· 9:00 am-9:55am Stretch & strength

· 10:00 am – 11:45 pm Ballet

· 12:00 pm -1:00 pm Pointe

· Pricing

o $16 per class

o City Ballet of Cleveland members $10 per class

o All 3 daily classes $ 45 per day

o $160 per week

Nurture your passion and talent with inspiring classes for children and adults. Small class sizes, taught by patient and experienced teachers, offer individual attention and encouraging each student’s maximum growth and development. Students will experience the joy of dance while also developing confidence, mastery of skills, poise, self-esteem, and social skills. Opportunities include visits to museums, guest lectures and performances!

Three-week camps begin June 12 and our five-week session begins July 10

Princess/Prince Camps are for 3-5-year-olds, and 6-8-year-olds. Includes magical ballet, jazz, tap, crafts and music.
Nutcracker Workshop prepares young dancers for auditioning for roles of Gingers and Mice in City Ballet of Cleveland’s Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker.
The Level I Camp for students ages 8 and up, novice or with fewer than three years’ ballet experience, includes ballet, jazz, modern, conditioning, choreography, dance history and music.
The Level II Camp, is designed for ages 10 and up with three or more years of experience and consists of ballet, pre-pointe, jazz, modern, choreography, yoga, Pilates, conditioning, classical variations, dance history, music, nutrition & injury prevention and rehearsals for the end of session performance.
The Intermediate/Advance Camp includes the previous listed plus pointe, and stage hair and make-up.

Dancers ages 10 and older, with two years or more experience should make an appointment for a placement class.
