Student short film directed by Toni Dersch

 

Stephanie Ross comes home from the city to care for her sick father. Hoping to get along with the other women of the area she agrees to go to a book club. But the women and the book club aren’t what you’d expect.

Major Characters

-Martha B Brooks (married to Rodger Brooks)- two kids, age mid 40s. Prim and proper, keeps everyone in line.

-Stephanie Ross (father is Daniel Ross)- single, age late 20s early 30s. 

-Brandy Collins- age late 30s, no kids, married. Has a slight southern accent, could be slightly redneck, doesn’t wear makeup.

-Heather Long- married, 4 children, age in 40s. the prim and preppy popular girl from high school.

-Linda Peterson- married, 1 child, age in 40s. Proper, follower, always takes heathers side.

-Jodie Carter- age early 30s, married, pregnant currently with 1 child already. Prim and proper, follower, always picks brandy’s side.

 

Minor Characters

-Daniel Ross- age late 50s, divorced, loving father

-Rodger Brooks- age mid 40s, average husband and father
