FHYA/BCT seeks Set Designer/Constructor for Disney’s High School Musical, Jr.

Paid Contracted Position

Medina, Ohio

 

Fred Hargrove Young Artists/Buckeye Community Theatre are seeking to hire a Set Designer/Constructor for their upcoming summer show, Disney’s High School Musical, Jr. Applicant must have experience with design/ constructing a set and be familiar with how to safely use shop tools/materials to complete a build.

 

Build location is at Medina High School ( access to scene shop immediately behind the stage). Building access/ build times will vary but will typically be in the afternoon/evening, coinciding with rehearsals (Mon- Thurs). Build time is from June 1- July 27^th. Set must be completed/installed by Sunday, July 29^th.

 

Show dates: August 2-5, 2018.  You will also be needed for strike on August 5, 2018.

 

Prior to contracting, Designer must pass a Federal/State background check.
