What to Prepare:

A song of your choice that will showcase your vocal range and personality (about 2 - 3 minutes).  It is preferred to bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided.  If you do not have sheet music, a pre-recorded backing track is acceptable (please bring a speaker).

Rehearsals:

Rehearsals will begin Monday, March 17, 2025  and take place Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.  Not all actors will be called for all rehearsals.

About the Show:

Jerry, a down-and-out steelworker grappling with unemployment and a dwindling bank account, is desperate to regain his footing. With mounting child support payments looming and chance of losing visitation with his son, Nathan, he concocts an audacious plan to make some quick cash. He, with his hesitant best friend, Dave,  assemble a ragtag group of unlikely candidates — each with their own burdens and dreams — after witnessing the electrifying excitement of their wives at a touring Chippendales show. 

 

As this motley crew prepares for a show of their own, each member faces their own demons, tackling feelings of isolation, insecurities, and unfulfilled aspirations. Through heartwarming and often humorous encounters, they discover an unexpected camaraderie and sense of belonging as they bond over their shared mission. However, the question lingers: will they muster the courage to go THE FULL MONTY and reveal their true selves on stage?

Casting Information:

• Inclusivity: We are seeking a vibrant, diverse cast that represents our community.

 

• Experience: No prior experience is necessary—newcomers are encouraged to audition!

 

 

• Actors ages 18 years and older will be considered (Except for the role of Nathan.  It is advised that guardians familiarize themselves with the story before deciding if it is the right show for their young actor).

 

• The actors portraying the roles of Jerry, Dave, Horse, Malcome, Ethan, and Harold will need to be comfortable appearing on stage without a shirt and in a very small flesh colored undergarment.
