The CMBA’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA) provides pro bono legal services and educational outreach to local artists and arts organizations. A panel of VLA attorneys will discuss what legal issues artists may encounter as they seek to protect themselves and promote their works on social media platforms. Topics will include pros & cons of various networks, as well as licensing issues and potential sources of liability in sharing your work and advertising.
