SYNOPSIS
A hit comedy similar in vein to Shakespeare’s comedies of merry misadventures and mistaken identities, Boeing Boeing tells the exploits of French bachelor Bernard and his lovely female flight attendants. Three flight attendants, to be exact, from three different countries: and they all believe they’re engaged to Bernard! In the past, Bernard has been able to juggle these women due to his detailed timetable of his fiancés’ flight schedules. When the situation changes and all the women end up at his apartment on the same day, Bernard (with help from his bewildered friend Robert) struggles to keep them from learning the truth. Will the lying lothario be able to keep up this charade, or will a disaster occur? As they say: all’s well that ends well!

What To Prepare: Please bring a resume, headshot, and be familiar with script. We will be reading from the script and would like actors to have some knowledge of accent. Doesn't need to be perfect! Plenty of rehearsal time.

Rehearsals: Will begin in late November with a two-week break for the holidays.

Performances: Fri & Sat evenings Jan 24 to Feb 15, 2020

Cast includes 2 men and 4 women. All must have strong comedic timing for this production.

Berthe: Not your typical French maid. Fun crazy character, with a French accent; Age 30-60 years old

Bernard: American, Playboy, Bachelor; Age 25-40

Robert: American best friend of Bernard from Wisconsin, A "never been kissed" type of guy; Age 25-40

Gabriella: Airline Hostess with thick Italian accent; Age 25-35

Gretchen: Airline Hostess with thick German accent; Age 25-35

Gloria: Airline Hostess with American accent; Age 25-35
