How often do you lament the fact that there don’t seem to be enough roles for you to participate in? Well, here’s your opportunity to audition and get hired in several roles designed for black actors.

WUAL needs more African American actors for its upcoming mental health project,
“Wake Up to Healing Arts: Using Performance and Media for Direction, Hope, Health, and Total Well-being”
The Actors will appear in a showcase of the playwrights’ original works scheduled for Covid-friendly productions,
Saturday, Sept. 17, 7:00 P, and Sunday, Sept. 18, 3:00 P. Rehearsal schedules, via Zoom, TBD.
All roles are available.
Actors may play multiple characters in the same, and/or different, plays.
All auditions will be virtual. Please email a current jpg and Word Headshot, plus Word resume and a side from one of the plays on the website, wualstudio.org. Send audition to wualstudio@gmail.com by Mon. 8/8/22. And, please submit professional Headshot and Resume to wualstudio@gmail.com, by Mon. 8/8/22
The staged readings won't take much time, 2-3 rehearsals & perform Sat. 9/17, 7:00 P & Sun. 9/18, 3:00 P. We're hoping to work at Rainey.
There will be a stipend paid.
