“Jack and the Beanstalk” Performed by Columbus Children’s Theatre

Sunday, February 12 at 3:00 PM

Philomethian Auditorium – 38 Philomethian St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022

Columbus Children’s Theatre brings this classic fairy tale to life! Lonely Jack is forced to sell his cow so he and his family can have money to buy food. A mysterious old man convinces little Jack to give up his cow in exchange for magic beans. Appalled by this trade, Jack’s mother throws the beans outside and sends the boy to bed without supper. Overnight, the beans grow into a giant stalk which leads to a kingdom above the clouds. A large, but aloof, giant lives in the kingdom, and provides the perfect opportunity for Jack to get into trouble.

Join us after the performance for an acting workshop geared for the entire family, presented by Talespinner Children’s Theatre! The workshop will focus on themes from the play and provide an introduction to the “actor tools” of “mind, body, and voice.”
