On April 21st, 1977, everyone’s favorite little orphan, Annie, opened on Broadway at the Allen Theatre. This coming April, Brecksville Little Theatre will not only celebrate the “to-the-date” 40th Anniversary of Annie’s debut on the Great White Way, but also bid a fond and heartfelt farewell to BLT before it merges with BTOTS to become Brecksville Theatre in the fall. We hope you will consider being a part of our thoughtful, heart-warming and truly special retelling of this beloved classic.

OPEN CALL - NO APPOINTMENTS NECESSARY. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show - with sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist provided. No CD's or acapella auditions, please. (Children auditioning for Annie/Orphans may sing acapella if necessary.) As always, theatrical resumes and headshots are appreciated, but not required. 

Rehearsals will begin on or about Sunday, February 26, 2017, and will typically run Monday through Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons - based on cast availability. Not all cast members will be called at every rehearsal, and children will be dismissed by 9:00 PM. Please bring a complete list of schedule conflicts from February 26 to May 13, 2017. No conflicts will be accepted for any performance dates or during tech week.

ALL ROLES AVAILABLE. Seeking a high-energy, versatile and diverse ensemble of 20ish adults (Age Range: 16 and up), 7 female children (Age Range: 6-13) and 1 dog (Age Range: open) for lead and extremely active featured ensemble roles. Brecksville Little Theatre is committed to non-traditional casting. Except in cases where race, gender, age, or disability is essential to the show, all roles will be cast on the basis of talent.
