Four
faded Broadway stars, desperate to
reignite their dwindling careers, embark
on an unexpected journey to Indiana. Their
mission is to aid a high school student
whose desire to bring her girlfriend to
the prom has been thwarted by the school's
conservative PTA.
However,
the actors’ well-intentioned but chaotic
attempts at activism only exacerbate the
situation, forcing both the Broadway divas
and small-town locals to confront their
differences head-on. Amidst the chaos,
they discover shared perspectives that
transcend their disparities, learning the
true essence of community.
