Who are the Revere Lamplighters Youth Performance Guild?

The mission of the Revere Lamplighters Youth Performance Guild – The Lamplighters for short – is to serve as an educational organization for theater arts that establishes and advances standards of excellence in youth performance and encourages an active interest in theater arts beginning from school age children through young adulthood. We will achieve this by providing outstanding theater workshops, performances and community engagement through participation in local, state or national events.

 

The Lamplighters was created and is led by Executive Director Kelly Elliott Clark.  Our workshops and performance based workshops promise to teach your children basic acting techniques through theater games, short skits and full length shows that are enjoyable. Actors will be able to use their body, voice and imagination while creating fun characters, reading monologues and acting them out!  No experience required!

 

Lamplighter’s Broadway Bootcamp 101

This workshop will provide your children with specific tools that will help them develop as an actress/actor, singer, and dancer in a musical theatre program. Bootcamp 101 promises to work towards building a foundation that will help young actors to be successful onstage while having fun and playing games to learn about musicals. Musicals are super fun and develop incredible young performers that can accomplish anything they are given with the right goals and guidance.

Broadway Bootcamp 101 will be held at the Village of Richfield Recreation Center, Lower Level, 3333 Brecksville Road, Richfield, OH 44286.

Dates: Saturdays, Noon – 3:30 pm

March 10, 17, 24, April 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5.
