EVENT: Dover Players Presents Sherlock and the Woman
This April, the Dover Players community theater group presents Sherlock and the Woman, written and adapted by Todd Evangelista, Ben Saylor and Emily Rhinehelder and directed by Todd Evangelista.
Sherlock and the Woman
After Sherlock Holmes was bested by Irene Adler, he referred to her as the woman. Late in their lives they meet again and remember their history together: from their meeting during a Scandal in Bohemia, from when he had to rescue her in the case of the Vatican Cameos, when they worked together saving the Khalifa in Khartoum, and when she rescued him while they saved Count Von und Zu Grafenstein.
Audience members will have a chance to match wits with the famous detective in determining the name of the killer by circling the suspect’s name on the program insert during intermission. The best answers will be read at the end of the play.
