Music Therapist
Part Time Hourly (15-20 hours weekly with growth potential)

Position Summary: Functioning as a member
of the Creative Arts Therapies team, music therapists (MT) serve individuals of all ages with and without various disabilities. Assignments include placement in agencies throughout Northeast Ohio region as well as group music therapy sessions, group music
programming, and/or adapted programming at Beck Center for the Arts. *Current position is primarily working with early childhood music groups (infant-age 5), special education classrooms (middle school), and adults with developmental disabilities.*
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in Music Therapy
· Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) through the Certification Board for Music Therapists, or Board Eligible with immediate plans to take the certification
exam.
· Licensed Professional Music Therapist (LPMT) through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
· Reliable transportation both to Beck Center and to various contracts in the community
· Flexibility, creativity, and dedication to serving the needs of program participants
· Flexibility of schedule (to be discussed at time of interview).

Pay Rate:
$22-$26 per hour. Hourly rate will be discussed with each potential candidate (commensurate with experience).
