All high school girls are welcome to be an important part in Saint Ignatius High School's production of Almost, Maine (running October 19-21 at the Breen Center of the Performing Arts).
A modern play about complicated romance, nine roles for these young women are available. Auditions will be held next Monday and Tuesday (August 20 and 21) at the Breen Center. Actresses can come either day and arrive at any time between 4:00 — 6:30. (Please note that performers will be seen in the order in which they arrive.) Those auditioning are asked to prepare a contemporary one-to-two minute monologue.

Why Audition?
The drama program at Saint Ignatius encourages imagination and collaboration during the rehearsal process and performances. As members of the cast, actresses will have an opportunity to produce meaningful, personal art. Acting techniques taught by Strasberg, Meisner, and Adler will be utilized to bring real characters to life. Perfect for those preparing for college auditions and/or a career in the arts, this opportunity will help both dramatic and musical theater performers grow as artists. (Oh, yeah, we also have a ton of fun.)
