Acting I: Developing the Actor's Toolkit

Eve Urban and Tessa Gaffney

Mondays 6:30-7:30 PM ET, January 3-March 7

Put the essential acting skills in your toolbox! This class will include: developing an actor’s warm-up for body and voice, physical acting exercises for connection and character development, audition preparation, best rehearsal practices, and performance routines. Students will work on monologues and duets for final sharing and recording.



Sketch Comedy

Jordan Euell and John Lynch 

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 PM ET, January 5-March 9, 2022

Create, perform and record original comedy sketches for CADA’s YouTube Channel! Discover how characters, settings and structure work together to bring laughter to the audience! This course covers skills such as collaboration, character development, story structure, pacing, pausing and timing.



Voice for Digital Media

Mikaia Ross and Justin Miller

Saturdays 3:00-4:00 PM ET, January 8-March 12

Learn microphone techniques for recording and broadcasting live. The class will explore voice-overs for commercials and animation, podcasting, narrating documentaries, audiobooks, news, sports & weather. The class will cover skills such as breath control, tone and resonance, articulation and script interpretation.



Improv for All

Ruben Ryan and Justin Miller 

Saturdays 11:00 AM - noon ET, January 8-March 12

This CADA class is those who love to play theatre games, make up silly characters, and make people laugh! For all ages, all abilities, all levels of experience. Skills include: saying “yes” to scene partners, listening and responding, taking turns, making appropriate choices, developing story structure, knowing when to enter and exit, and knowing when and how to end scenes.
