Healthy Choices Video
Produced and presented by and for Alliance for Healthy Youth
The Akron, Ohio non-profit, Alliance for Healthy Youth, is remaking a video that emphasizes healthy choices teenagers are encouraged to make. This video will be used in conjunction with the curriculum for the Alliance’s 7th grade Responsible Social Values Program (RSVP). The video will present scenarios of students making healthy, wise choices that will impact their overall success.
--Auditions
are due Friday June 11th by 5 pm.
--You can audition for more than 1 role.
--Filming date TBD mid-July 2021 (This will be a one-day shoot)
--Filming will take place in Akron, Ohio.
--All actors under the age of 18 will need parental permission to participate.
--Non-union.
--Actors will be compensated.
***NOTE***ACTORS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO ENGAGE IN ANY PORTRAYED SUBSTANCE USED AS PROPS IN THE SCENES OF THIS VIDEO.

Kaitlen—Pregnant
teen who is somewhat afraid after an encounter with a young mother of 3 in the welfare office.

Josh—Kaitlen’s
boyfriend. Slightly brazen and and uninterested. Body language and facial expressions show this more than his lines. Actor’s note: Do not overdo
the facial expressions.

Zeke—Friend
of Bennie’s and Tommy’s. He’s a football player (Lineman,tackle), matter of fact, non-judgmental and at times serious.

Ronnie Girl—Ronnie
is very attractive, heavily made up and acts provocative. She is known for ‘getting around’. She wants a ‘moment’ with Tommy at the school dance because she knows he’s a virgin.

a virgin and is okay with that but lately, he is questioning whether he needs to lose his virginity to fit in.

football player. He’s started smoking pot with Taco and everything is
starting to change. His grades are slipping and he’s about to lose his position on the football team.

alcohol. He thinks it makes him cool. Narcissistic as he passes judgement on everyone else.

of Braeden’s. He’s squeaky clean but doesn’t flaunt it. He’s funny, witty and very likeable. Would love to see a smaller statured young man play this part if possible.

friend of Lisa’s. Winnie is meeting Braeden and Lee for the first time. She showed up specifically to meet Braeden. She’s the ‘new girl in school’ and a bit judgmental. She vapes.
