WHAT IS CLEVELAND DANCE FEST? SEE BELOW
The Movement Project's Cleveland Dance Fest is set to return for its 7th season November 4th, 5th & 6th, 2022 at the historic LaSalle Theatre located in Cleveland! The 3-day festival will feature master classes by CDF artists and performances featuring Cleveland dance artists, visiting artists and pre-professional artists.

CDF 2022 will be taking applications for performance pieces and dance films starting April 25th, 2022. CDF has 5 applications this year for artists to apply.
Show 1 & Show 2 - open to professional artists (independent artists, dance companies, grad students)
Emerging Works Concert - for artists submitting “emerging works.” We are defining “emerging works” as any piece that is still open to change and development. (Artists at all stages of their career are welcome to apply. This is the application for any college/undergraduate applicants)
Emerging Works Concert (Commissioned Artists) NEW THIS YEAR! - for artists interested in creating a new work. Selected artists will be paired with a TMP Choreographic Mentor who will provide support and feedback during the creation of your new work. As part of their compensation, artists will receive 10 free rehearsal hours at TMP’s newly renovated studio
Youth Showcase - open to pre-professional youth dance groups ages 12-18 years old
Dance on Film - open to all artists over 18!
