Lighting and Projection Assistant
Cleveland Play House (LORT B, C, and D), America’s first regional theatre and recipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award, is accepting applications for a Lighting and Projection Assistant.  This position crosses over between LIGHTING and SOUND AND PROJECTIONS.  The Lighting and Projection Assistant works with the Lighting Supervisor to maintain lighting equipment and paperwork as well as supervising three full time I.A.T.S.E electricians, overhire electricians and a Lighting Apprentice in the hang, focus, notes and strike of the mainstage season, 2 MFA  shows and special events and works with the Sound and Projections Supervisor installing and maintaining video equipment and programming and editing for any shows with video projections.  Qualified candidates should have 3-5 years professional experience, preferably in regional theatre.  Experience with VectorWorks, Lightwright, WatchOut and QLab essential.  Position requires a highly organized person with strong communication and supervisory skills. Position is full time, seasonal with benefits and starts August 22, 2016 through April 30, 2017 with a possible extension to May 14.  Salary is hourly with time and a half after 40 hours.
