-How to use improv to showcase your own personality/Thinking quickly on your feet
-Working on different types of commercials (spokesperson, two-person, solo spots, etc.)
-Using improv to make the script/copy your own
-How tone can inspire your improv within the spot
-Audition prepping under a tight deadline
-Using improv skills when the commercial only uses physicality and no dialogue
-How to do self tapes when you don’t have time to find a reader
-Creating an instant character fully realized at a moment’s notice and much more!

Marc Moritz (AEA) originated the role of Talk Show Host in the original Broadway production of the Sondheim/Prince musical Merrily We Roll Along and has worked in dozens of theaters across the U.S. He recently appeared as Rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof at La Mirada Theater in LA with Jason Alexander as Tevye and will be appearing as Rabbi in the upcoming Fiddler at Cleveland Playhouse . (Sense a pattern here?) 

Other Shows/Roles include: Twelfth Night (Grumio) Boy (Barnes), Diary of Anne Frank (Otto), Amadeus (Emperor Joseph) Scottsboro Boys (Interlocutor), Into the Woods (Mysterious Man), Sunshine Boys (Lewis) Little Shop (Mushnik). Theaters: Pittsburgh Playhouse, Goodman, Long Wharf, New Harmony, Dobama, Porthouse, Off The Wall, Idaho Shakespeare, Riverside Shakespeare, Cleveland Playhouse, Great Lakes Theatre Festival. 

Marc was also the Founder/Director of the Cleveland based Giant Portions Improv Troupe. His improv training includes stints at ImprovOlympic and extensive workshops with Paul Sills, Del Close and Charna Halpern. He has hundreds of Commercials, Industrials, and Voiceovers under his belt. Marc was a Visiting Guest Artist at Cornell University, where he coached students and performed in productions as a professional mentor. Marc has taught Acting and Improv at AMDA, CAP 21, among many other professional acting programs. He received his MFA in Acting 

Marc was the Founder / Director of Cleveland's Improv Troupe - GIANT PORTIONS and has taught Improv at ImprovOlympic and Second City in Chicago. Marc has taught acting at AMDA and CAP 21 in NYC and is the Midwest Affiliate for MainStreet Musicals (https://mainstreetmusicals.org/), a NY -based Non-Profit organization committed to nurturing new musical works regionally. Marc was in the Returning Professional Program at Kent State University where he received his MFA.
