“SEAT AT THE TABLE”

A one-act modern version of the biblical story of Naomi and Ruth

 

Ruth still needs Naomi’s love and support. As the wife of Boaz, Ruth prepares for her first dinner party and she seeks direction from Naomi while desperately trying to convince Naomi to take her rightful “seat at the table.”

 

Characters:

Ruth          1- woman ages 18 – 35 years old.

 

Naomi      1- woman ages 35 and older
