About the Event:
Over the past
year, Wandering Aesthetics, The Akronist and Jilly’s Music Room partnered to produce
nine Full Circle Storytelling events – each inspired by a prompt and an idea:
everyone has a story.
From these open
mic events, eight storytellers were chosen to work with Wandering Aesthetics’
Director of Education Kyle Jozsa to shape their stories and present them at ‘Full
Circle Storytelling: Collected Works, Vol. 2.’ Special guest Neema Tamang,
a Nepali actor who recently performed in ‘In Search of
Alternative Dreams’ as part of Gum-Dip Theatre’s Nepali Applause
Festival, has been invited to share a story about “first love in a refugee
camp.” DJ AaRron Epps will guide the gathering, spinning soulful soundscapes as
the evening’s emcee.
Stories
range from heart wrenching to hysterical – and everywhere in-between!
