Cleveland's burgeoning film and theatre scene is presenting more opportunities for local actors. To find your place in the community takes time, preparation and know-how. Michael hopes to lend his experience to help you avoid the mistakes he's made while giving honest feedback, setting realistic goals and honing your skills to maintain growth. All while understanding the necessary expenses to avoid wasting time and money. Working in the entertainment industry is difficult, but taking the right steps will give you the confidence to know what casting directors are looking for and how to get the roles you want. Michael Silvio Fortino was born and raised in Augusta, GA . Michael made his acting debut in 2003, in the Augusta Player’s Production of Fiddler on the Roof. Michael would spend the next 16 years performing in the CSRA in roles such as: Ariel in The Pillowman, Tyrone/Jason in Hand to God, Marius in Les Misérables, Dan in Next to Normal, Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz and. Guildenstern are Dead. In 2018, Michael moved to Atlanta in hopes of making a transition into film. He booked his 2 first speaking roles on CW’s “Dynasty” and the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things.” Michael is currently represented by Barbara Garvey of East Coast Talent Atlanta.
