INTIMACY NOTICE
RCT has engaged with a qualified Intimacy Director to work with all actors. The Intimacy Director will work with the actors playing Tammie and Kate to create moments of kissing and/or embracing that work within the actors’ boundaries. We may discover other moments of casual or familial intimacy between characters (e.g. casual touching, embracing) that work within the boundaries of each actor.

Also note: this production aims to use water onstage in a variety of ways, and some characters may need to get wet as they attempt to fix leaks.

1. Dr. Tammie “Tam” Stockman: Late 30s. Female. Admirable in her constant search for truth, but unyielding, refusing to listen to others when she knows she’s right. Wife of Kate. Mother of Petra. Intimacy request: kiss(es) and embraces with Kate.
2. Kate Lee: 30s/40s. Female. Wife of Tammie. Artist, loving mother. Fulfilled personally, but not professionally. Intimacy request: kiss(es) and embraces with Tammie.
3. Peter Stockman: 40s. Male. Tammie's brother. Mayor. A populist “outsider” who has been an insider all along.
4. Bill Wynnefield: 20s. Male. Dynamic and entrepreneurial editor of the local paper.
5. Martin: 70s.  Male. Conservative, curmudgeonly widowed farmer.
6. Petra: 18-22. Female. Young, idealistic.
7. Heather: 40s. Female. Editor of a dying local newspaper.
8. Anthony Kalan:  Male, 50s or 60s. Head of the chamber of commerce and a self-made man.
