Stagecrafters Youth Performing Arts Program: Building Character On and Off Stage STAGECRAFTERS is a dramatic arts program which seeks to help each student realize a positive self-image while being exposed to the creative aspects of drama and the disciplines of the theatre. The Stagecrafters approach enhances self-esteem, fosters team spirit and provides an outstanding opportunity for people of all ages to share in the magic of the performing arts.

This interactive class is an excellent way to introduce the long-term benefits of dramatic arts participation to students attending Pre-K. Students participate in a variety of activities that develops speaking skills, builds confidence, and enhances social skills and creative learning. Little Actors! Grade 2
Grade 2. Little Actors will spark your young actor's creativity as they explore the many avenues to nurture their imagination! Grade 4. This class is designed for young actors to find their own voice in a collaborative, creative environment. Center Stage: Grade 5
Grade 5. Students will learn the acting process from “the page to the stage”. Through script analysis and character development, students will act out scenes, play games and expand their repertoire while increasing their stage presence. Write On! An Intro to Playwriting Grades 6, 7, & 8
Introduction to Playwriting is dedicated to process, risk-taking, and finding one’s own voice and vision. This course will introduce the traditional approach to writing and editing a 10-minute play, rooted in character and narrative structure, with emphasis on a play’s arc through its beginning, turning point, and ending.

Show Biz Kidz! Musical Theatre Production: Grades 2-5
Grades 2-5. Show Biz Kidz offers 4 classes all in one!! This workshop performance of a scaled-down musical will be performed during the last day of class. Students will become familiar with all aspects of theatre like taking direction, working as an ensemble, memorization, choreography, costume and set design, while developing audition techniques. This class is a great preparation for future main stage productions, as well as other theatrical opportunities.
