Olmsted Performing Arts is offering several dynamic summer theatre camps! Your child will learn all about musical theatre and put on a show at the end of the week!

Students who participate in more than one Summer Youth Theater Camp will receive a 25% discount off of each camp.

“Hello, Times Square” Youth Theater Camp

June 26–309:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. dailyAges 6 to 11

This camp will focus on all aspects of musical theater, and what makes a performer a “Triple Threat”. The class will work on acting, singing, and dancing skills and how they all combine together to make one fantastic production at the end of the week! Students should come prepared with a lunch each day.  A final performance will take place at the Parma-Snow Library Auditorium on Saturday, July 1 at 11:30 a.m.; arrival time for students is 10:30 a.m.

“We’re With the Band” Youth Theater Camp

July 17–219:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. dailyAges 6 to 11

This camp will focus on all aspects of musical theater by working on acting, singing, and dancing skills and how they all combine together to make one fantastic production at the end of the week! The kids will perform a one-of-a-kind show while incorporating today’s top hits!  Students should come prepared with a lunch each day.  A final performance will take place at the Parma-Snow Library Auditorium on Saturday, July 22 at 11:30 a.m.; arrival time for students is 10:30 a.m.

“Camp Cabaret” Teen Theater Camp

July 24–2810:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. dailyAges 12 to 18

This teen camp is designed to focus on acting, singing, and dancing with an emphasis on vocal technique, Broadway choreography and strong character development. Students should come prepared with a lunch each day.  A final performance will take place at the Parma-Snow Library Auditorium on Saturday, July 29 at 11:30 a.m.; arrival time for students is 10:30 a.m.

“Dancing Through the Decades” Youth Theater Camp

August 7–119:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. dailyAges 6 to 11

This camp will focus on all aspects of musical theater by working on acting, singing, and dancing skills and how they all combine together to make one fantastic production at the end of the week! Watch the kids perform songs spanning the decades! They will learn about popular songs and the dances that go with them that have led up to our musical style of today!  Students should come prepared with a lunch each day.  A final performance will take place at the Parma-Snow Library Auditorium on Saturday, August 12 at 11:30 a.m.; arrival time for students is 10:30 a.m.
