The C. Paul Stocker Humanities and Fine Arts Center (Stocker Arts Center), on the campus of Lorain County Community College (LCCC) in Elyria, OH, opened its doors in 1980 and annually hosts performances from professional touring music, theatre, and dance attractions, to regional performing organizations.  The facility features two theatres and the Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery.

Stocker Arts Center is looking for an organized, customer service-focused individual to serve as our part-time House Personnel Coordinator.  Reporting to the Director of Stocker, the House Personnel Coordinator:

●      Hires, trains, evaluates, schedules, and supervises the front-of-house personnel for all events.

●      Coordinates schedules and needs of each individual event with appropriate managers.

●      Monitors the upkeep of the facility.

●      Communicates with rental clients in order to meet their front-of-house needs.

●      Fills in at any front-of-house position location when able or necessary.

●      When serving as the primary House Manager at an event, conducts service evaluations of front-of-house staff, prepares Event Reports, and acts as the first responder to audience and/or facility problems.

Required Qualifications: A high school degree and 1 or more years of prior experience in a theatre, school, or other performing arts venue front-of-house role.  Current CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain certification at College’s expense, and a valid Ohio driver's license are also required.  Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.  Must work effectively in a team environment and possess computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends.  Must be able to perform moderate lifting (40+ pounds).

Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree or higher.  Must be detail-oriented and possess outstanding interpersonal, organizational and supervisory skills, along with having a positive attitude and proactive customer service philosophy.
