Seeking Two Guitarists for Violet

Laurel School, an all-girls Pre-K-12 independent school in Shaker Heights, seeks two college or professional guitarists to play in the band for their Upper School main stage musical theater production. Violet has a great score filled with a variety of non-classical genres including bluegrass, country, folk, pop, and rock and roll. The stipend is $450.00 per musician and all rehearsals and shows are held at Laurel School’s Lyman Campus at One Lyman Circle in Shaker Heights, OH. Please contact the director, Anthony Gault, at agault@laurelschool.org or 216-455-3071 if you are interested in the gig. Guitar parts are flexible and we can substitute instruments accordingly. Musicians must read notation.

Guitar 1: acoustic, nylon string, electric, banjo, tenor banjo, steel string, electric nylon, mandolin
Guitar 2: acoustic, steel string acoustic, nylon string, electric rhythm guitar, electric guitar

Tuesday February 16th – Band Rehearsal: 2:30-4:30pm, Sitzprobe with singers: 5:00-6:30pm
Monday February 22nd – Music Stage Rehearsal: 5:30-8:00pm
Tuesday February 23rd – Dress Rehearsal #1: 5:30-8:00pm
Wednesday February 24th – Dress Rehearsal #2: 5:30-8:00pm
Thursday February 25th – Show #1: 7:00pm
Friday February 26th – Show #2: 7:00pm
Saturday February 27th – Show #3: 7:00pm
