The Olmsted Performing Arts Scholarship Program has been established to provide financial assistance to children ages 18 months to 18 years to further or begin their education of the arts.
In alignment with Olmsted Performing Arts’ Mission Statement, we seek to provide the technical skills of each craft but to also build character, confidence, relationships, and encourage creative expression.
A minimum of 3 scholarships will be provided, 2 need-based and 1 desire-based, each scholarship period.
The recipient of the scholarship will receive 1 class in the department of their choice for the fall, spring and summer session.
If the recipient chooses to audition for a production and are cast during the scholarship period, their production fee will be waived.
Applications for the 2016-2017 scholarship will close June 19, 2016.
