NOTE: This is a zero-budget, non-paid student film, but make no mistake - this is a production I take very seriously.

My name is Ron Sonedecker, I am a 51 year old USAF Veteran and a Film student at Kent State University. I am directing a student short that I wrote - "Stolen Valor".

This is a short story about the father of a soldier who was recently KIA, and he seeks connection at a War Veteran's meeting - but he does so by pretending to be a veteran himself, which does not go over well. But once he reveals the truth, he is fully accepted into the group.
